Our organic vegetable garden is small and highly experimental at present, but
from time to time produces some impressive crops.
This zuchini from a garden bed located at the edge of a native
bushland is large, but very tasty. It is sweet, like a watermelon
and can be eaten raw.

One of the key features
of our garden is the dome greenhouse, with temperature control
and automatic ventilation (see the photo below).
The greenhouse is double-glazed and because of its aerodynamic
shape it stays calm even during strong winds above 100 km/h that
are quite frequent here.
When we learn enough about gardening, the greenhouse will enable
us to grow food crops all year round, even in frosty winter months.
Using the greenhouse we plan to achieve 80% self-sufficiency in
food supply.
