Photographing
koalas in the wild is a real challenge. To begin with they are nocturnal animals
and are active at night.
During the day you can see them sleeping in a dense canopy near tree tops in the
forest, but it is very difficult to get near to them. For this reason nearly every
known picture of koala is a picture of koala in captivity.
It took us many months to find koalas and baby koalas in their native habitat
for the enclosed photos.
